BAPTISM - Our First Covenant

Yesterday was an awesome day. I had the wonderful blessing of being able to speak at one of our good friends daughters baptism. This was a very spiritual experience. I have never been asked to do this before. I had a short time to prepare my talk but I began immediately to pray to remember my baptism, (WOW that was 22 years ago November 1st). The only thing I could remember about this day was some family and friends being there and there was lots of other kids being baptized that same day. I received a hard bound Book of Mormon from my bishopric that told their testimony of Jesus Christ and the truth of the of written on the first page. I talked mostly about how this is the 1st Covenant that we make with our Heavenly Father and we are showing how much we love Him by making this covenant with Him. Today started off just as awesome were I was asked to be in the circle to confirm the Holy Ghost upon her and to welcome her in as the newest member of the church. Today Eunice and I wanted to practice a Hymn so this is what we chose "If the Savior Stood beside Me" You can read the lyrics on the picture posted.
